Country Club Confidential Presents: Boxing Day Special

Before we jump to the fights, we here at Country Club Confidential would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. Since our launch in September we have recieved amazing feedback from many of you who have expressed the excitement you feel when story time rolls around at 10:05am PT on Thursdays. That’s music to our ears and we’ll keep working hard to come up with the best stories we can find from clubs all around the world!

In the year ahead we have many exciting things planned that we’ll keep “confidential” for now, but when the time comes you’ll be the first to know.

And now, the moment you’ve been waiting for. Let’s get ready to bumble, stumble and tumble with our Boxing Day Special!!!

1. We open with a battle that has a little bit of everything. Overweight guys with questionable fighting skills, a shirt getting pulled off and a flagstick used as a weapon. Like all of these fights, there is no winner, but the shirtless guy swinging the flagstick gets our vote for the biggest hothead in the group!

2. Speaking of swinging objects at other golfers, here’s a guy that shouldn’t be allowed to set foot on a golf course again. He not only swings his driver at another person, but he makes contact. Needless to say, this violates numerous rules of proper golf etiquette!

3. This one is just wild - it appears that two threesomes are settling some sort of disagreement with their fists. Unlike most NBA brawls, several punches land and the fight goes on a little longer that you would think. This fight doesn’t feature any weapons, but it does serve up some good old fashioned knuckle sandwiches.

4. This one barely counts as a fight given the inability of either participant to “fight,” but it makes the list for its absurdity. Once again, there is no winner in this fight, including those of us that watch it, but it is nice to know that there are people out there that, if you had to, you could easily take down in a fight. These two are near the top of that list.

5. And finally, this fight between golfers (and apparently course staff?) features some weak punches and an even weaker effort at a karate kick. The video doesn’t capture the whole fight, which is probably for the best. But, like all the videos before it, it’s a nice reminder that it’s better to seek non-violent resolutions to on-course disagreements!

And there you have it - a quick break from our usual stories, but we’ll be back at it in 2025 and we can’t wait to show you all the new things we have planned. Until then, enjoy what’s left of 2024 and refer some friends to CCC so you can have a shot at winning that driver!!!
